Sun Tzu said “An army marches on its stomach”. This clearly implies navies don’t. The Art of War is like jazz, it’s about the wisdom that he didn’t write down!

i love how casual it has become for the media to say that, even under normal logistical circumstances, the US military relies on concerned family members back home to send them food and basic supplies.

like the regular US mail can’t deliver, so they’re eating shoe leather, toothpaste, and the soldiers don’t have armor plates.

paper tiger on fire in a dumpster.

I just realised that a lot of “survival food” like chickpeas and rice, stuff that keeps well for a long time and is also really cheap, is much, much easier to make a delicious meal out of than whatever this is. This isn’t even likely to be the cheapest option for the US military to feed their troops, this is probably on their plates because of a grift.

Imagine how well everyone could eat if there weren’t pointless wars, and they were in the Middle East as comrades rather than invaders. Idk - I just feel like there might be something to be said about diplomacy and cooperation over…whatever this is. Legit this should be what they serve on crapitol hill while they’re cordoned off until they actually pass legislation (although this would probably lead to even more unhinged laws- so maybe not…)

I guess this food will make the sodomy easier. The lash will seem less painful too. But will they even get any Rum?

Wtf even is that? Usually only school children get served “food” like this.

It’s honestly impressive, looks worse than any canned food I’ve ever seen, and that includes pet food.

Maximum lethality actually referred to how lethal their logistics and planning are for US troops.

May the child bombing vessel drift the seven seas, unlit and rudderless, denied every dock until all supplies are utterly gone, nothing left of the crew but hungry ghosts trapped aboard forever.
