I’m American and on Bluesky forgot how to readjust the settings to show “graphic” stuff. I googled to find a vid. I found a ~7m Youtube vid by a news channel and I made the mistake of watching it. I muted it because I don’t care what they have to say. Just show me the video! I kept skipping head and they kept not showing it. I bailed at around the 6th minute. Incredibly aggravating. I clicked a CNN link and I was almost shocked it was just the video itself.
Earlier I turned on the TV almost at the same time CNN started showing the video here, I had already seen it, so I wasn’t shocked, but I didn’t expect them to just show the whole thing like that.
If an ICE agent gets killed - I bet some media outlets won’t show it. And others will show it with so much intentionally pixelated - it will look liked nonsense. They will do that to avoid Trump’s wraith. For showing the video - Trump wouldn’t have grounds for criminal arrest due to the First Amendment but he’d threaten them with it anyway.
