From looking at the steam store page it does not look like the character gets portrayed in problematic ways. Not sure why I would want to engage with pedophiles over their mental health issue, but a fact is these people exist (1 to 3 out of a hundred was it?). Does the game try to appeal to them? For me it does not look that way at all and with that I can personally decide whether or not I want to consume this piece of media.

I really have no idea what you’re trying to say. I don’t care about this game. I don’t know what it’s about, or what genre it’s in. It might be a first person shooter implementation of the royal game of ur for all I know.

Prior to this thread I did not know about this game in this way. So what does that say about you? Nothing really, aside from that you were unlucky enough to come across the wrong space of internet.
And honestly I doubt that it will have any real impact on the game. You never heard about it before? Then you would not have bought it anyways. You wanted to get it before? You probably won’t let a vocal fringe minority keep you from consuming what you want.
Maybe you are surprised about pedophiles on reddit of all things but I really am not. One of the very reasons I left reddit was their unhealthy obsession with pedophilia. Guess what kind of people are obsessed with pedophilia?
Maybe the same thing happened on other spaces about this game, but right now we are talking about reddit spaces and there are not many good things I have to say about those. If you will stay away from this game due to this that is absolutely ok though.
