I don’t disagree but it’s really scary that Israel has pushed things to that point. Like I’m sorry, how long before the Star of David is considered a hate symbol no different from the swastika? It might be time for another struggle session about the Star of David and the sensitivity with treating it the same way we treat other nationalist symbols. The star was not a religious symbol in Judaism and really wasn’t very prominent in Jewish culture until the 19th century. The rise of its use coincided directly with the rise of the concept of Jewish ethno-nationilsm aka Zionism.
