That’s not always the case. Our last dog was big and didnt mind being home all day without us and outside the occasional ask for going out she was self reliant. Never gave her any drugs, outside a few infections. Got real lucky with her. Sadly passed a year ago.

I’m having a hard time qualifying that as an anxious animal. They sound downright well adjusted
