I’ve never been a Rossmann fan, but I respect their advocacy. I’ve always found them to be far too aligned with ‘anti-government’/ ‘pro-capitalist’ ideology, and far far too whiny about government regulation. So long as they stay focused on consumer rights and advocacy, I do see them as a useful ally. But they’ve historically been someone I cast a sly eye against.
I would argue that interpretation is incorrect. The times I’ve seen him been strongly anti-government, it’s mostly been against regulations that are very clearly designed around supporting corporate interests over that of citizens and abuse of the legal system to that effect.
His diatribes are nauseating and I can’t stand to listen to him, definitely. but that has nothing to do with his viewpoints, which I generally seem to support

He spent the better part of a half decade whining about NYC regulations around stolen property that he was not in compliance with, ultimately to pick up stakes and move to Texas to become more solidly focused on his role as influencer. Now I think they’ve changed but, they very very much had their roots in a more anti-regulatory sentiment, at least when they were actively running their repair shop in NYC. They would constantly go on rants about how bad NYC was and how it was all the “governments” fault.
Yea he’s unbelievably annoying because even when he’s right, he’s an insufferable douchebag about it.
I think he might do more harm than some think, if you’re going to be a visible face of something, try not being an asshole.
That’s it. That’s what it is.
He’s in the same niche as Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Insufferable douchbag.
Why are they douchebags? 🤔
Sometimes it takes a douchebag to make significant changes to help the consumers and end users.
Also, it’s spelled douchebag, not douchbag.
If you’re gonna make a critical comment, at least learn to spell words correctly.
Same. He’s got that, “He’s crazy, but he’s our kinda crazy” vibe going on. I guess I’m just glad he’s on our side. I’m not buying any merch though.
Well he considers Thomas Sowell an insightful thinker so… That said, there’s a strategic ally line between marxists and capitalists around market failures that necessitate gov’t intervention to “improve capitalism” or solve “crony capitalism” or whatever the fuck cope they want to call it. We just don’t have to tell 'em it works as intended and instead ally on concrete results around market failure. We don’t have to smear their faces in our superior understanding of the system. You don’t tell a kid that half the things you teach them at the age of 5 is half-true. :D
BLASTS
It’s spelled Rossmann, with 2 N’s, it’s even spelled out correctly in the article.
waaa a title is missing a single letter. waaaaa
You can have your feelings about someone calling someone out for mispelling something(it’s a name, though, so they should get it right) but there’s nothing quite as pathetic as people like you. Why be better when you can be proudly stupid instead?
lmao
