At this point I’m sure they’re just entering shit into a chatbot to spit out these posts. I’ve been noticing the prominence of the em dash in a lot of them

the prominence of the em dash in a lot of them

        I imagine this…

Trump says to his trusty aide “I AM YELLING A LOT IN ALL CAPS. PUT THIS IN A POST…” And the aide being lazy as fuck puts trump ranting antrophic constitution commander-in-chief must obey war with iran. The AI vomits up some stuff. And the aide edits it as needed but is so lazy-dumb that they don’t even bother to remove the evidence - stuff like the em dashes.

One day we’ll have one more stupid internet meta-meme like Poe’s law/Murphy’s Law/Hanlon’s Razor/Goodwin’s Law, that says something like “Never assume artificial stupidity is necessary to surpass human stupidity” with a dozen links to pre-LLM word salads it’ll be great

You just gave me the idea of the beginning of a story.

One day Trump stops appearing in public. It’s not even clear where he is. Is he sick? Is he dead? But Trump’s Truth Social posts keep coming out. Then the Trump account posts a ridiculous low quality AI slop vid of Slop Trump doing stuff. He’s his helicopter. He’s on Air Force One. He’s playing golf. He’s in a war meeting with a map of Iran. He’s at his desk in the Oval and maybe he’s doodling? He’s in a theater on Broadway speaking odd Latin phrases with an AI Jim Caviezel.

Libs - of course - are excited beyond belief. They assume Trump is incapacitated or dead. But they get a shock. Chuds say it doesn’t matter if Trump is alive or dead. But of course he’s alive. But if he is dead - so what? He’s still the president. Despite the obvious fakeness and oddity of the vids - as time passes even normie GOP voters say Trump is still the president because digital Trump is good enough. Chuds start opening threatening violence if Slop Trump is blocked from completing Regular Trump’s term. And they want Slop Trump to be the 2028 nominee or bad things - very, very bad things - will happen.

Lol, what if when he’s tweeting, he’s at his calmest? Like getting a hit after hours of feigning for it. He’s probably got a coffee mug with “Don’t talk to me till I’ve threatened another country on the internet.” On it.

I see you are about to go to war with Iran. Did you get Congressional approval as per the Constitution to start this military action? Getting approval ahead of time will be much easier than dealing with legal issues after the fact. Would you like me to draft a bill proposal for submission to Congress?

That’s it, I’m writing an angry post about you being a threat to national security!

This is a Musk play to replace Claude with Grok, no way does anybody else care which plagiarism bot the USGov uses.

They care if that plagiarism bot has safeguards that won’t allow them to make something that kills without human input or allow them to spy on its users.

Unless this is all kabuki and a way to brand Claude the liberal LLM and Grok the conservative LLM so that the culture war can smother the ember of class solidarity that has formed in response to the LLM situation.

I think the second part is giving them too much credit. The whole business world has coalesced around Claude over the last month or so and the admin just wants the shiny new toy everyone else has so it can be used to kill and surveil and who would guess that the pedophile presidency doesn’t do well with being told no.

On the other hand, the whole culture war gambit could backfire because of how remarkably shitty the other models are by comparison. What’s a chud to do when the woke model and the OSS Chinese models far outclass Elon’s good ol CP robot?

Anthropic is the most prominent model used in the US government by far. I’d imagine they got targeted because whatever person who attempted to strap Claude onto a drone ran up against a hard “As an AI assistant, I am prohibited from…”

It could have been any of the major companies but it was Anthropic because they’re popular in the DoW already

In a reddit post about anthropic rejecting the military deal, I saw people proudly declaring they would be switching to Claude. Feels like living in a totally different world sometimes

      Meanwhile, CEO:

Anthropic has therefore worked proactively to deploy our models to the Department of War and the intelligence community. We were the first frontier AI company to deploy our models in the US government’s classified networks, the first to deploy them at the National Laboratories, and the first to provide custom models for national security customers. Claude is extensively deployed across the Department of War and other national security agencies for mission-critical applications, such as intelligence analysis, modeling and simulation, operational planning, cyber operations, and more.
