This would produce something that looks like the Street Fighter movie, competent actors but none of them make sense and none of the cast has any synergy with one another.

Raul Julia would have made an incredible Gendo. Not for like, purposes of authentic portrayal or even being remotely faithful to Evangelion as a whole, but it would have been incredible regardless.

Daniel Radcliffe is not cheap as hell nor is Gwyneth Paltrow. We can have Haley Joel Osment as Kaworu as a treat because I do think he would have a perfect voice for Kaworu given his Kingdom Hearts years.

I don’t hate it. Hayley Joel as Kaworu and Chiaki as Rey are probably the only miscast roles IMO. Radcliffe is iffy. If anything, swap Haley and Radcliffe
