  • The first thought the petty-bourgeoise breadtuber has on any given topic is “how will this affect my brand?”

This realisation enables you to understand why influencers are fundamentally always going to be a deradicalising force except for the cases where they are self-sacrificial. With that said however there are absolutely no breadtubers I can name who are self-sacrificial in the same way that other names with platforms are like Kneecap, Bobby Vylan, Ms Rachel or others who are actively sacrificing the things they can do and the breadth of their potential audiences for what is right. There are no, NO breadtubers who are sacrificing or doing as much as Ms Rachel, who would not even profess to be anything more than a children’s entertainer, let alone an “activist” like these influencer twerps would say they are.

  • I imagine all the admirals allow this shit because enforcing a joyless hellhole aboard your ship is not the best way to be liked by the people under your command and having a miserable ship is not really good for efficiency.

Ever seen the work a miserable worker does? You want that person repairing your engine? Leaky ports? No you do not.

  • I think there’s a difference between an eroticised scene of SA and one that is supposed to be genuinely disturbing.

I would say that this scene in Dandadan is eroticised. It’s not the same.

You don’t need to show anything that some people would put on a website for kink content with a bunch of extremely specific tags to make the point you’re making, as a director. It has that intentional gaze of a lecher built into it.

the evil bad guys are japanese salarymen aliens, slumlords, and imperialist globalists.

I don’t really disagree with this part

  • Supporters of Palestine are being jailed, deplatformed, censored by entire governments and even labelled as terrorist organisations.

    Because they’re useless and ineffective?

I’m sorry but it takes jumping through incredible hoops to convince yourself that liberals are the effective ones when they’re defeated by simply ignoring them while the left are so fucking dangerous that states are pulling levers at the highest levels to try and shut us down.

  • As usual leftists have championed a doomed cause

Perhaps Contra will end up being correct. But, do the Palestinians want us to do anything else? The Palestinians I have spoken to have sometimes resigned themselves to the idea that they might have a doomed cause, have they asked me to stop championing that cause? No. Why? Every single one of them wants to TRY.

And that’s what matters. That you try.

Andor’s Nemik speech is extremely fitting here. It may be true that many causes are doomed to fail, but each and every single act of trying is creating more people that are united in the cause of opposing the empire. Ghorman is a doomed cause from the start, there was no saving it even if they had the entire enemy plan it would be carried out effectively, but what its doom creates is millions if not tens of millions of people in opposition to the empire.

The very same can be said of Palestine. They may be doomed, or they may not be, but speaking of doom is not useful. TRY.

Contra does not want to try because it does not benefit her liberal politics. She is a supporter of the empire, not opposition to it, and she knows that our attempts to try create people that are to the left of her, which is not beneficial to her cause.

the way Israel is perceived does seep out into attitudes towards jews in general

No it does not. This is completely bullshit. The antisemites will have that attitude towards jews regardless of the situation in Palestine, and everyone else will immediately love every jew who says “i am not a zionist”. The only jews affected by this situation are zionists, they are not affected because they are jews, they are affected because they are zionists. Every single one of them can disarm any negativity towards themselves immediately by saying they’re anti zionist.

And finally I just want to point out that this whole post exists to disguise the fact she’s admitting that her position is two-state zionism but without actually saying Palestinians should have a state.

  • It’s not about the UN, it’s about the primary contradiction.

China’s sees imperialism vs anti-imperialism is the primary contradiction in the world, and that the imperial core countries will never have revolutions until they no longer materially benefit from the resources they take from the periphery.

China’s position on sovereignty will strengthen the periphery countries until they are strong enough to resist imperialism, at which point the imperial core will lose their resources. When this happens the core countries will not accept the loss of profit, they will pursue it elsewhere and the only place to pursue it will be to cannibalise the core. This cannibalisation will result in the conditions for revolution in core countries.

China is maintaining complete consistency on their sovereignty position because it’s supposed to lead to the conditions necessary for communism to win.
