It’s sad and scary, but necessary, imo. Despite being leftists, a lot of us are still laboring under the naivety (and a touch of white supremacy) that it couldn’t happen to us, we live in a civilized society. And that’s bullshit, they’ll come for us when they think they can get away with it. And the fact of the matter is, that they’ve always just been working their way down the list of marginalized folk until they get to us.
