The data is trying to reflect the current state of home buyers. So while it would be illuminating to get a demographic comparison between recent buyers, those at least a year or two into a mortgage, and those who own their home outright, it wouldn’t be relevant for this particular context.
Really curious what this data looks like if you factor in homes bought by corporations.
