Maybe more like fresh IT guy vs. seasoned (=old) IT guy

Check the top comment, it’s important to understand that the humans need the training, not the dog. It’s behaviour they learned through engagement. Most dogs will stop doing something once they realize it’s not fun. Biggest challenge will be to change your own behaviour around the dog.
May I suggest not to watch videos for dog training? I’m a littel bit vocal about this because I’m working with dogs in a professional setting. We talk about this with the dog handlers and they are furious. There’s just so much wrong info out there, it’s bonkers. They actually have to fix dogs and their humans in their schools.

Great advice. I’d add that it’s almost crucial to take a dog that young to a proper dog training, they will teach that stuff to the humans as well. It looks like the dog has a well rounded character that just needs a liitle bit of direction.

Good input! I have to read up on that compound buildup. The idea of the hunter’s pot was to water it down once it’s 1/3, maybe that did the trick back in the day. These were some tough dudes…
For the water, I used filtered tap water, so should be ok on that.
The alcohol is a fantastic idea and it can pair well with the leftover cooked down to a stew with potatoes and meats. I have to think about that. Salt and maybe rosemary are anti-microbial as well.

Yes, I should be more specific. I can heat only the serving I need, but that is not the point of my thought experiment. It is obviously a horrible idea if I want to be as eco friendly as possible.
The idea is: heat everything up to a boiling point every time just to kill the bad stuff, how long can I keep something like this going.
I want to attach a picture of that aweful burned heritage turkey they ate from the sink, but can’t find it. The whole family is like “this is the best turkey ever”.

Here’s a problem. Schools are full of them. They are really, really good for that specific field. People only think about their private use, but education will suffer the most. Or taxpayers, because they have to pay the bill. Again.
I don’t believe you. You just lack the patience. It’s easier to sit back down and watch youtube than to try to juggle for 10 Minutes. I know, it can be a long time, but it will come back. Did you try with two for a few minutes? Patience, my friend, patience!

Lemmy Gold for the delivery!
I could use this sock on the next mountain I’m going to climb as a rope. Can you please give a hint what kind of alien material this is. 3 hellhounds equal one Cerberus. Thats not a sock, that’s Heracles’ Rope!
one of these days I’ll write it down.
Do it now! The internet is so unreliable these days, one day you wake up and - poof - your favorite recipe is gone. You try to find it, then you try to remember the correct ingredients. But it is gone forever. Like a beautiful dream. And every time you cook it something tastes off. Because I didn’t write it down!
Even better during long, boring conference calls…
Juggling is so much fun, if you never tried it you should start immediately. Bring a little bit of patience and you can master 3 balls quite fast. Plus point: it does really good things to your hand-eye-coordination and you will be surprised how much your reflexes can improve with a little bit of regular juggling. Highly recommended!
Do you mind crossposting this to !dogs@lemmy.world ? This is just so damn precious.

There were rumours that Frankincense, one of the gifts, has psychotropic properties. Sadly, it was nothing more than a rumour
Weed it is, baby!

Once you do this long enough, you can write a book or two about getting started… Here are my personal favorites:
And, of course, make sure you don’t do anything illegal…or do it, I’m not your father.

GrowWeedEasy - Probably the best beginners guide on the interweb
Growdiaries - Nice pictures and lots of good info (would be cool with federation…)
SeedFinder - Strains and stuff, database with growers and sellers
Check the big seed companies websites, they have very good blogs and wikis with lots of info.
Brilliant! Feels like a real-life-docu about a madman killing all his underlings. Oh wait, it’s the US-of A, freedom country, home of the brave with all the guns. But no proper first-world vacination.
You guys really did a 180 there, didn’t see that coming.
