Might still be nice to minimise them if it doesn’t incurr a crazy time penalty?

It’d be so awesome if Fairphone made a deal for Fairphone 7
ITT: linux users overthinking an anti-meme
Talk is cheap. Contribute to postmarketOS. You can translate, code, test-drive or donate. The more people realise this the quicker we’ll have a properly FLOSS mobile landscape and an alternative upon which to build apps and other things.
USB-A is still in wide use, it’s what most people just call USB, it’s the non-reversible one that most thumbdrives use.
USB-B (which includes mini-USB and micro-USB, among others) is being slowly phased put in favour of USB-C
Can’t agree, Kofola out of the tap is glorious. Can’t wait to be in Czechia/Slovakia again
I think we can arrive to a best-of-both-worlds solution if we just up the tolerance for when solar noon can be to 12:00±2 h. If China just had +7 instead of +8 as their timezone then 99 % of the population would have solar noon in between 10:30 and 13:30. Same applies to the entire EU (excluding Outermost Regions) if it had +1. The entirety of South America and most of the Caribbean would fit in +4. The US could definitely get away with 3 timezones instead of its current 5 (-6, -8, -10).
Wasn’t there some drama around Audacity not being FLOSS anymore?
And the Holocene/Human Era Calendar!
Xing is at least not owned by MAAM
I pronounce these all differently though? [wɛɹ], [wəɹ] and [wiɹ]
Okay, now kick the Americans out of Pituffik.
Nebula is great. Lots of original content, varied catalog and you get to see lots of stuff before it comes out on YouTube (if it even does, as there’s also extended Nebula-only videos)
Community sourced moderation seems sooo in line with Fediverse ideals! And would probably go a long way avoiding mod burnout and avoid cases like lemm.ee’s
They’re closing in on alternative ROMs with their fucking shitty device integrity checks, I’m afraid it’s only getting worse. I literally had to switch back to stock Android because none of the e-government apps of the country I live in NOR two out of my three banks work on /e/. Literally impossible to participate in society unless I sell my soul to Google, sadly.
I really hope we’re able to fight back and win the war.
AFAIK FlorisBoard will support gesture typing with it soon (they already support normal typing with it) and it’s FOSS!
Sangaline/DGHP and NALMY come to mind. The first tries to optimise for uniqueness of gestures and the second for distance travelled, both meant for hand gliding typing
I like SimplyTranslate from F-Droid and RTranslate from GitHub. The second one also has a really cool live conversation mode where it can, through voice detection and TTS, interpret back and forth between two people.
I’m just some guy that doesn’t like Europe being reliant on the US and I am also against Russia
Then adapt the schedules without making every cross-border interaction artificially messier
