Why do MAGA weirdos love to include the J initial? Do they think it makes him seem more distinguished and less like an incompetent baffoon? Pretty sure even Trump when constantly speaking in the third person like a psychopath doesn’t include his middle initial, at least not the vast majority of the time.
My thoughts exactly. Make Nazis Afraid Again.
No, it doesn’t. A socialist plan would be offering free tuition to any student to use at any university, free tuition at public universities, or creating and funding schools owned by the staff. This “American Academy” bullshit sounds like a way to A) take over higher education so that it can be propagandized for the right (like they already claim it is for the left), B) Justify defunding other forms of higher education assistance particularly for left leaning universities, and C) funnel billions from tax payers into some hand picked cronies to run his diploma mills and pay it forward in kick backs to him. Mark my words.

I for one blame the misinformation machine, the radicalizing echo chambers, and the reactionary and inflamatory nature of social media that the internet has propogated over the last couple decades.
Can’t get 5 adults that REALLY want to play DnD together to play DnD.
Leftist memes did not lose dems the election. Voter apathy and the sheer popularity of fascism did.
I’m not necessarily attributing blame here, but I’m pretty sure that OP is suggesting that leftist memes helped lead to this apathy. Say what you will, Trump voters were excited for their candidate… somehow, despite the list of reasons not to being far too long to be listed here. But many on the left either were just lukewarm on her, just considered her the lesser of two evils, or were protest voting third party or abstaining for one reason or another, mostly over Palestine. And there were memes galore to make clear to everyone what the general mood was. It doesn’t exactly inspire enthusiasm to those that need that a lot of enthusiasm to even bother (those people are frustrating, btw). I don’t know how much it actually contributed to or propogated the apathy versus how much it just reflected the apathy already there, but a case could be made either way.
Correction, about 20-25 precent are. He’s only got 71 million votes so far in a county of over 300 million. Half are just too lazy to fucking do anything about it, even turn out to vote.
412… and a half?
Nail holes? Black mold? Functioning power outlets? Nothing a nice inch thick coat of matte white latex can’t fix!
Fun fact, I moved into an apartment once where the landlord had painted the inside of the tub/shower combo to cover the lime scaling. You know what’s really slippery when wet, turns out? Latex paint. You know what bubbles up and chips off after a few months of being intermittantly sprayed with hot water and stepped on? Latex paint. So dumb, so pointlessly dangerous. Had to put down traction pads in my damn shower so I didn’t break my tailbone or crack my skull. And by the time I moved out, the tub was like 90 percent unpainted anymore and looked a damn mess. Dumb.
There are alternatives that are arguably better.
You can play the exact same puzzles as on the NYT site without giving them your traffic. There are archives of their puzzles that you can play for free. If you like connections, go to https://www.connectionsunlimited.org/. For wordles, go to https://wordlearchive.com/. Just Google for archived versions of your favorite games.
Then there’s also other publications that have puzzle games live this. For example, as I like the mini crosswords, there’s a student publication, The Observer, that has these mini crosswords too: https://fordhamobserver.com/category/fun-and-games/daily-mini-crossword/.

Is this pre-Warmbo? That might explain it.
Dude went to see Barbie a second time to seethe about feminism. Entirely missed Openheimer. “Too long, too sciency.”

You are suggesting that the pandas looked badass and that this Dracthyr looks goofy. I’m not a WoW player, but it really sounds to me like you just have a very strong, but subjective ideal about what is “badass” and what is “goofy”. You are treating that ideal as objective, but I promise you that others have a different opinion.
Also it’s a game that let’s you roleplay fantasy races and factions with a bunch of other nerds around the world (using the term “nerds” lovingly here). Why is it unusual that some things in that style of game gets a bit silly sometimes?
The original post described them as neopronouns, which is a category of pronouns that have arisen recently due to changes in how we understand and describe gender. Pronouns like xe/xer, for example. The pronouns for a timeless being that predates humanity would hardly be “new” by any standard. I was having fun with the idea they would be old or eternal pronouns by comparison to Humanity’s pronouns. You took the joke too seriously.
I’ll miss it
