Nobody seems to know what’s going on with vaccinations and it even seems to vary not only state by state but pharmacy by pharmacy.
I talked to my pharmacy last week and they indicated they had the shots, but were not giving them without a prescription.
Talked to my doctor today, they are handing out written prescriptions at their office, but also note that some Kroger branded pharmacies are doing them without prescriptions.
So when in doubt, talk to your local pharmacy and doctor! Your mileage may vary!
Edit Rules here changed last week, no prescription needed now! As your local health care professionals!
I should say too… as a heart patient I have to take Covid EXTREMELY seriously. I lost track of how many shots after they stopped updating the cards, but like 8 or 10 of them? No ill effects. No Covid.
I feel safe in assuming this audience knows all the FUD over the vaccine is BS, but just in case.
Yeah, it sucks. I really ought to get the latest booster.
But apparently the different kinds of COVID vaccines are even different and vary by effectiveness? As if it wasn’t confusing enough already.
Yup, not sure about the new one. I tried to stick with Pfizer all the way through, but I think one of them was something else.
Apparently doctors offices have a lot more leeway than pharmacies in this regard.
