Unfortunately, this seems to be a common weak spot with a lot of anti-imperialist geopolitical analysts/journalists. Especially the older ones. I follow a bunch of them for their interesting perspectives and entertaining dismantling of Western narratives, but whenever they decide to take a jab at queer politics or sexual liberation in the West, the brainworms are on full display. I wish they’d stick to exclusively talking about geopolitics.
