    To be honest, I am more surprised that he replied at all.

    Roughly 90% of the time when I write emails to scholars or other competent writers, they never respond.

    Everybody is too busy to talk to me.

      I once wrote a letter to a SciFi author I like saying I thought the universe of his stories would make a good TTRPG, and he replied like “yeah it would but I’m like busy as fuck right now. But it’d be cool if it happened.”
