My cat had to be euthanized today. She would often times climb onto my lap as I played my little children’s card game on my computer after the kid has gone to bed. Then I would lean back as far as i could and she’d cuddle on on my chest right under my chin and give me kisses like a dog does.

Gonna bump this and the other post for you so some comrade can get these tcg codes. I’d take them myself but I play yugioh on edopro, pokemon was never my thing.
I think the cards look really cool in YuGiOh and I actually have a couple of the cheap QCR cards in my collection. I think the main reason I’m attached to pokemon is because I was born at the exact time where pokemon came out when I was most impressionable.
Ah I’m older than you, lol. I was born in the 80’s so by the time pokemon came out I was kind of already aged out of it and playing stuff on playstation. But I did have blue! I never beat it as it didn’t grab me as a tween like I said age reasons. The tcg is cool though there’s a lot of strategy in it I hear.

In terms of deckbuilding it’s very fun and has a lot of options even at the top level. However the way the game functions it comes down to RNG a lot.
I’m also salty about going 1-3 at my last tournament IRL because of prize cards

- I am sorry comrade. I have never played TCGs before but they always looked fun. I think I still have a single pack of pokemon cards from my childhood that a friend gave to me because I was left out.

It’s from late 90s maybe back when there weren’t so many pokemons so I assumed they weren’t worth much because they might be extremely common? but the pack is not sealed unfortunately :( I do really need the money right now. I have some old 90s game and cds as well so I kind of want to see if I can sell them when I go back home to meet my parents. I also have some other collectibles like pogs and tazos and maybe some other stuff.

Things that were valuable back then are probably still valuable but if you have a specific printing date of cards and they’re in good condition even common cards are worth something. Especially if they say “1st edition” anyway yeah DM me whenever

They should be in good condition so I hope they are worth something. I will DM you when I get home. The cards I had weren’t valuable but the stuff other kids wanted from me were these things. I just hope they are not fake though. I remember getting them from a convenience store.
