Another tech review.
Honestly, I’m in a “retail therapy” sort-of mood.
Your thoughts?

I don’t understand why phones and tablets expanded like they have.
I am perfectly happy having a smaller phone if I can have a bigger screen when I want it. Why can’t I buy a $150 screen+battery that my phone docks to and now I have a tablet. It could be foldable even and if the screen rips or gets wet the phone it self can be fine.
Still using my s10e, but it’s starting to show its age. Battery is dying and no more security updates. I was looking at zenfone 10 as a replacement, but the lack of usb c video output and the high price are not very appealing.

No kidding. My current phone is 5.8‑inch and I really think it’s the sweet spot for me. I still have an old Nexus 7 tablet and I kind of hate that phones are approaching that screen size now.
Mines a little over 6" and I wish it was a little smaller. Unfortunately, mine seems to already be on the smaller end of the market…
I’m not expecting top performance or battery life, I just want a phone that can browse the Internet, lemmy, and lasts the whole day. That’s it. I don’t play games, and I don’t use any other kind of intensive app, I just want a phone that is relatively small.

Smaller screen please! Hopefully they keep the 8a small, or better yet, smaller
I prefer something big, though not too big.
I really hope they keep their promise of the 7 years support. But if I was betting man, I would go for them cutting it way before then.
Yeah, agreed.
