Pretty sure AITA, TIFU etc were mostly badly written fan fiction lol. Some of those stories were so far from anything that could happen in reality. I hate being so cynical and critical of everything… ignorance is bliss
The culture with AITA is so toxic as well. Over time as the sub got bigger the community became more mob like as a result. Given the size of this place we might not see aita make the leap on to this place for a long time and I’m glad that’s the case.
That sub started out fun and with pretty believable stories as well. Nowadays people write novels and the comments take everything so extreme and serious.
Last I read there was an AITA about a guy trying to make his girlfriend cook in the kitchen with the women of his family. OP said in the comments that his girlfriend made him go to a family hunting trip, people were foaming at the mouth saying he’s making the hunting trip up to make him look better. Lmao who cares, it’s a story.

Oh god I forgot about that. The answer 99% was breakup or divorce no matter the situation!
Did I hear the word “toxic”? Try r/FemaleDatingAdvice.
I looked at it as a drama/soap version of nosleep.
