come and take all the strays (half of them aren’t even strays they’re just uncollared free-roam pet cats from the nearby surrounding neighborhood being fucking menaces when they’re horny, the tiniest bit hungry, or when they have temporarily scared off all the birds & squirrels) from my goddamn apartment complex they have pissed on EVERY DOOR AND ALL ALONG THE WALKWAY and keep pissing on my packages if they get left outside my door for more than two hours

oooaaaaaaauhhh my neighbor swore she was in contact with a rescue program and was gonna do something about them…same neighbor is now leaving wet cans of cat food outside for them every day…like thanks for encouraging them to piss on our front doors and loudly fight in the morning on the walkway i guess

Feeding stray cats is a beautiful and kind act, you are basically creating a turbo ecosystem collapse of your entire local area single-handedly and wiping out any remaining local wildlife that hasn’t been ravaged by contact with humanity

      This Juche anccelerationist approves!

Tbf cats kill for fun, I don’t think feeding or not feeding them actually affects how much stuff they kill in any way. Maybe a starving cat will fight harder to kill stuff meaning that feeding them could at most make them kill slightly less.

You gotta build some trust to catch them. I was doing this with a bunch of local strays someone was complaining about. Caught two kittens, took them to a shelter and a couple of days later, almost the whole colony was dead from rat poison, including one I claimed and bottle fed and slept with when it decided to come eat and rest.

Maybe your neighbor lady is appealing to the part of cat psychology in which they don’t pee/poop where they eat, so if you all leave cat food all along the walkway, the cats will stop pissing there 😄💡
