i don’t want to tell you that you’re wrong but also I’m extremely online and basically have lived on this site since it started except for a few weeks long periods and I can’t remember any genuine pro-catholic posting?
edit: all I can think of is a handful of times where the pope (previous pope, even) said a good thing and people were like “pope said a good thing, cool” about it
Im not gonna restart old beefs or call out anyone in specific. But I have seen both people saying that they “critically support” the Catholic Church (not as a joke) and making explicit carve outs for the catholic church in arguments.
I think i even took up the argument once or twice, so its probably in my history somewhere. But I’m not gonna go looking. I’d rather be assumed wrong by the people who want to start a fight over this than start the fight.
