I have my suspicions about its historical accuracy based on my college being notoriously conservative and my professor being an anticommunist. I was wondering if anyone here had read it or knew of a review that dissects its sourcing. I don’t have the time to heavily investigate this book unfortunately.

It does present an opportunity to spread ideology among your classmates. “Can you believe the professor is making us read this bullshit?” and other conversation starters to steer things towards socialism. Then you can drop a “Oh by the way if you want to know more come to my org. Others would appreciate your thoughts on this nonsense.”

Otherwise, don’t be that guy who wastes class time arguing with the instructor. You aren’t the first nor will you be the last communist/lib/progressive/whatever the professor has encountered. Get the credits and move on. If your school has evaluations at the end of the term, that’s also a good place to bring down the hammer.
