Not only this, doing such a thing also spoils the tea. Because even for newfangled methods like cold brew, you don’t use fucking salt water straight out of the ocean. Why, you might ask? Well, because it tastes like shit.
I tried adding salted butter into my tea once, it was alright. Ocean tea can’t be that bad.
I think a dash of machine oil just rounds out the flavour really nice, but I haven’t been able to find authentic saltwater fish feces to try yet, and the artificial farm fish shit just doesn’t do it for me.
Throw some torches into the water. Surely that’ll heat it up right and proper.
They did also burn down a rival smuggler’s ship. No record of what it did to the water though.
