Look man, anyone who sieg heils in public as a mechanism of threatening others deserves whatever justice comes next, mob or otherwise. Nazi lives don’t matter, and frankly, being violently beaten to death by a mob for being a Nazi sounds like an appropriate societal reaction to me. You can sit there and hand wring about the optics being bad or finding violence distasteful, but that’s just cowardice refusing to acknowledge what is necessary to defeat Nazism. We’re not going to politely debate them back into the shadows, and they shouldn’t feel safe in whatever dark hole they crawled out of anyway.
I think the insinuation that mob violence is bad but an individual spontaneously beating the dude up on their own is good is very interesting from the standpoint of liberal ideology.
