      I think warfighter is a type of bloodthirsty wokeness to include military personnel who aren’t professional soldiers.

          No, that was lawspeakers or lawmen, wise old men who had memorised the law and who would recite it at annual thing assemblies. Norse society was still operating on customary law and the idea of someone having the gall to create a brand new legal code would probably be alien to them.

          Lawman, or løgmaður, is still used as the official title of the Faroese prime minister.
