I tried to make a guide for people interested in gaming on Piefed/Lemmy.

    PieFed.world doesn’t have it set up but on PieFed.social the onboarding process involves choosing from a list of topics (bundles of communities maintained by the admins) and new people get auto subscribed to communities within those topics.

    I’ll check your list to see whether there are some gaming comms I could add to the gaming topic, but I expect we have this covered.

      The guide is for Piefed.social (I have an account there two).

      I recommend avoiding the on-boarding and directly selecting the proposed gaming communities via links.

      I will post in piefed_meta in the coming days. Maybe I can come up with a draft/mockup.

      I can’t code, but I do have significant experience in dashboards and associated business logic (PowerBI, tablaeau, Looker Studio).
