I was hoping a horse was involved.
You just know that’s not how a court or jury would see it though. Unless the driver is literally chasing you, injuries or deaths by means of car are always considered accidents. As if the driver wasn’t in control (which of course they often aren’t, but it’s very silly that’s used as an excuse to remove culpability).

… Did anyone really think 2D pixel art is rendered in real-time from individually animated 3D 9bjects?
That sentence could just as easily mean “I’ve never played it, but it looks like a really bad game”.
I always knew it was possible for right-wing populism and proto-fascism to take hold in America. A society that seems itself immune and superior is especially susceptible.
But I honestly didn’t think it would be a complete idiot like Trump. A wannabe dictator is supposed to be charismatic. His ramblings couldn’t invigorate a chicken coop. And yet it seems people are so desperate for his ilk that not even that’s an issue.
Note that the strategy of courting conservatives didn’t move the needle even an inch. She got the exact same percentage of votes from registered republicans as Biden did, and it cost her millions of votes. And yet Democrats are already busy setting up the narrative how this is the fault of unelectable left-wing politics (lmao) and they need to move even further right. It’s sickening.
Congratulations on the selective reading.
Right. So millions of people have committed their lives to studying history, which contains overwhelming proof that your branch and interpretation of Christianity is the absolute truth. But most of them are too weak to acknowledge this, so they choose to deny the obvious truth all their lives, and will be judged accordingly.
I have a lot of patience for religious people and perspectives as long as they’re not openly hateful, but you’re really testing me here. You may be careful with your words, but your worldview and message are entirely self-centered, judgmental, and plainly offensive.
Yeah that’s mine actually.
But if it’s rooted in historical fact, rather than cultural hegemony and parents passing on their belief systems to their children, then studying history would naturally lead people to become overwhelmingly Christian. Reality does not reflect that.
So why are historians not generally Christian?
You’re not convincing anyone by misusing words.
Here, let me demonstrate: I have hard evidence that God doesn’t exist. My evidence is faith.
That’s a linguistic bait-and-switch. Your example has nothing to do with religious faith as a basis for conviction.
I think they mean the vacuum part.
To which I’d add that we had astronauts perform this experimentally on the surface of the moon.
Generally I’m with you, I truly dislike seeing downvote trains. But here I get it. This was a misguided attempt at proselytizing, trying to pass off faith in place of understanding.
That’s faith, by definition distinct from knowledge.
And North is in space
