As I’ve made more money in life, I pirate the same amount of stuff, basically (besides games). But I also spend a shitload of money on the stuff I like. Instead of paying Netflix or Spotify, I buy DVD/BD box sets, collector’s editions, vinyl, bandcamp my favorite albums, and way too many concert tickets. Avoid the middleman and support the creator.

Yeah, there’s a couple now from what I’ve gathered. The different “path” storylines.

They’ve released a ton of content and game enhancements since 5 years ago. I just picked it up a couple of months ago and I’m floored by how good this game is. Yes, it’s all randomized/procedurally generated and that’s why it’s so vast. The story is okay but not AAA amazing, but definitely check it out if it’s been a while.

His early death didn’t lend him much time to create a legacy. He’ll be known in business and tech scenes, sure, but the pop culture knowledge of him will be negligible. Does the general public know about the CEO of IBM 35+ years ago? The current crop of CEOs are like WWE wrestlers in their persona compared to Jobs. Being present for the smartphone revolution was something, but does anyone remember the CEO of the company that introduced the laptop? Jobs wasn’t a Carnegie or Rockefeller.

And that’s why he’s 75 and happy and Jobs is dead and no one will know his name in 20 years.

He probably owns his property already, so that’s a huge chunk, but the point still stands.

What’s the average socioeconomic status of your friend group? Most people have tablets now because they can “get them free” from the phone company.
