thanks for the feedback, i’ll have to see if there is some kind of idle parameter, it does seem to produce a lot of heat even when its not doing much.

yeah, no integrated graphics. hmmm. i guess i could swap out the cpu for a cpu with integrated graphics. i had not considered that option before.
