I think you’re right about the plate with studs. On the other hand, I’m pretty sure a tile without studs can be put between studs like that and be legal.

Looks like that is a home brew cap of some sort.

Currently using wezterm, mostly because it supports font ligatures and alacritty doesn’t (I really like the fancy symbols haha). I do use the window management in wezterm, but I’d go back to tmux if alacritty implements ligatures.

What board is that in the middle with the mostly red keycaps? Is it some form of dactyl?
