I think it’s the block of flats that’s Art Deco rather than the interior of that particular one, which is as you say more Louis Quatorze. If he’d been from Essex.
They complained that the original set of photos were all in portrait mode. This was the corrected set 🙂
That’s about £206,000. That wouldn’t buy you my 2 bedroom 1 bathroom mid-terrace house here. And by wouldn’t buy I mean you’d be around £100k short. Different fucking worlds.
Same here 😀
I’m betting you don’t live in Turnham Green, or anywhere close 🙂
I’m assuming the cupboard next to the shower contains the khazi, with the throne facing the shower. You’d be able to sit, at a suitable straining angle but unless you’re short standing for a piss is going to be a problem. I guess the washing machine is in a communal area somewhere in the building.
Many people in that part of the world retain the ability, largely lost in the “west”, to squat with their feet flat on the floor. That reduces the strain on the knees/leg muscles while “straining “ 🙂
Thereby tieing you to your ISP forever unless you were willing and able to keep changing your email address.
Never. Use. Your. ISP’s Included. Email. Service.
Effectively already started to happen. Restrictions on use and higher tax and other charges for older cars designed to “encourage” people to buy newer ones, nearly all of which are in some way connected.
Settled Travellers, got to be. Or winter quarters.
That thought is the only thing putting me off 🙂
Do NOT open the “is this a sandwich” argument! 😱 😀
Go on then https://www.realfoods.co.uk/ProductImagesID/9430_1.jpg
I might have to try it as well.
They ran the train but lockdown started the next day so my 8 day trip was off. Then they said you couldn’t get a refund on advanced tickets but could rebook later (at extra cost) up to a certain date but who knew when lockdown would end? I wouldn’t have been able to get more leave anyway. Then they said a few days later that advance ticket refund would be given but when I applied they said “Too late, it’s after the date you were due to travel”. Every other company I’d booked with gave refunds even those bookings that were non-refundable. It looks like Caledonian Sleeper’s days might be numbered anyway. Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.
Caledonian Sleeper who carefully wriggled out of paying a refund on a booking cancelled by the March 2020 C***d lockdown.

For no better reason than that Liam Proven mentioned it on Mastodon recently and I had an old laptop lying about that met the fairly lowly spec (4gb RAM, 15GB free space, 64 bit processor) and I was bored ☺️ It easily installed on a Packard Bell eadynote TJ65, team smoothly, and send to be a nice useable basic system. For which I’ve no real use already having a Xubuntu desktop & laptop, and a MacBook Pro😀
Welcome to the top of the slippery slope. Won’t be long before you’re digging out an old laptop to install Ghost BSD 😀
They have laws that explode now?
