Crunch is always a failure of management. Always. I feel bad for the rest of the staff, but given Rockstar’s history I will not be supporting them in the future.

Stoat desktop feels like it was just put in the oven, especially on Linux. It may get there someday, but I cannot recommend Stoat in good faith.
So it ended up better than before.
Not sure what’s up with the surge of dbz memes but I am 100% on board.

Probably has the same legal “protections” as Ship of Harkinian and the like - it requires you to own the ROM, and they are not profiting off of this work (at least not openly and brazenly). They are not bypassing any encryption using proprietary keys, and they are not redistributing any copywrited assets.
Nintendo is going to have a rough time of it in US court.

Imagine living in a world where “your” “rights” involve somebody else. In no universe do rights involve another person.
Makes it a massive pain in the ass to find them on watch/read tracking websites, especially when they have those ~ and 《》in the title (or subtitle). As an avid Manga reader, I have started skipping those series because, more often than not, they are just as uncreative as their titles. SEO or not, a good story will be spread by word of mouth. These writers are just screaming they don’t have confidence in what they are creating.

The arguments against this are that old people pay taxes and should have their fair share of representation in government.
The problem here is that olds are going to nominate olds and the ideals of the young are being completely ignored, so the younger populations are not being fairly represented. The DNC and GOP are both putting their worst and oldest candidates forward.
All offices need an age cap of 65, and the Supreme Court justices need an age cap of 60 and have term limits of no longer than 5 years. Supreme Court justices should be nominated elected by the people to make sure they balance the needs of the people with the wants of the president.

With less than 1/10 of the money.

If an officer is doing the job they are expected to do then they shouldn’t have to worry about doxxing or their livelihoods.

I am responsible for gathering information on AI to determine whether we should use it for our next project. The ask was to use it for a critical process task. Immediately in my head I was like “no, we are not using AI at all”, but I obviously need quantifiable data. This is just another thing to add to my list of why using AI for core processes is one of the stupidest things you could ever do.

He doesn’t have the authority to do a lot of things, but nobody is going to stop him.

Some people need synopsis reviews to fully understand what they watched. I use them all the time for things I have watched. If you make these things illegal, I will simply not consume your content anymore. There are plenty of other forms of entertainment to spend my money on.
Two notes about piracy that these Neanderthals keep failing to understand. If somebody pirates your content they likely weren’t going to pay for it anyway, and if somebody reads a synopsis they either weren’t going to consume your content or they already have and want to know more.
Piracy is a service problem. People pirate because you are not providing something they need. Instead of punishing people for being human, you should try and figure out what you are not providing and fix that instead.
With that said, the real point of the lawsuit is that the site operator profited with ads. That is a separate discussion.

The US music industry has always been bullshit, going all the way back to record labels. I would feel bad for the artists, but I don’t give two shits about the distributor who acts like they own the music and feels entitled to all monetary rewards for someone else’s work.

Starcraft 2 is super fun as a randomizer in the RTS format, but I do want to see more done with that IP. The problem is, like you, I will never give Blizzard a single penny ever again.

I live in the US and I dont trust US companies with my data either. They either sell it or are handled by easily exploitable systems developed offshore in India.
So, in that sense I do not trust the US, China, India, or Russia with my data and avoid software developed in any of these places when feasibly possible.

Having a prime number in the box makes fights more likely since it isnt divisible. If you are sharing, somebody is going to miss out.

The cost of a 2 bedroom apartment has doubled over the last decade. Groceries are up 50% and I have found that the food I buy is spoiling way before the best by date, as if stores are not properly handling their merchandise due to cut regulations.
Despite getting small yearly raises my spending power has not increased at all.
Why are Christians trying to speak for God and what God wants? Isn’t that pure blasphemy?
