Linux@lemmy.world•Only for reading, easily available in EU, low budget: which e-ink device/distro?English
2·8 days agoKindles are slow, they get slower every year (I suspect it is intentional). Kindles crash now and then, my Kobo hasn’t crashed once. The Kobo is quick, it has slightly better screen (I don’t experience any ghosting as I did on my Kindles). Also more tweaks on the Kobo (like how to turn pages). The power button has a much better placement, so you don’t accidentally click it. Kobo is also much more intuitive to use, partly because it doesn’t try to steer you to their shop all the time :] No ads, and perhaps the most important thing of all; it’s not Amazon.
I got Kobo this summer. Have been a Kindle user for years (three whitepapers, one a signature ed.),
Tried the Clara Color, but the screen doesn’t feel as good. You get a hazy’ish filter on everything due to the color layer. I think Clara BW is the bestest😁

Thanks. enabled the acme service thingy in the config file. Took me some tries before I understood I had to add port 80:80 from the docker yaml in order for headscale to setup the certificate. I guess I need to keep forwarding both 8080 for Headscale and 80 for certificate renewal.
should I, or is there a reason, to setup fail2ban too?

Edit: true the reply. It really is very sad. I see how my comment was unclear.

48·19 days agoBusses, train and subway - make all those free and it will probably be less expensive than keep building more and broader roads and parking + you get less pollution and fewer accidents. 🙌🏻
