i totally agree with you. and i think they should have included the artists name, just not for all the same reasons that you have. i think its stupid not to post the artists name, not cropping out the name would mean less work for the poster and it would make it easier for readers to find more comics of the same artist. i dont think what the poster did is wrong though, and i am against trying to justify having to include the artists name based on some weird morals and capitalistic ideas.

I didn’t say that removing picassos signature would not ruin the art. I said that physically destroying the artpiece is way different from copying a file and then modifying that copy. Copying digital art is not stealing. This mindset just enables stupid anti-piracy and copyright laws that will always harm the honest consumer

You’re not answering my question. Scrubbing off picassos signature would be different, because it would destroy the physical artwork. I wouldn’t have a problem with someone digitally removing his signature from a digital copy of the artwork and then distributing that online.

  • i grew up with gnome, switched to plasma because i used a steam deck as my main computer for a few years. im just so used to the workflow in plasma, and while i would really love to switch to hyprland, its just too big of a hassle to set it up and learn everything. luckily i found out about krohnkite, so i can at least have some tiling in plasma, but not in the way hyprland does it. i would love it, if it split the focused window

  • hdr really doesnt work on most desktop enviroments. have you tried using gamescope though? you can just install gamescope-session-cachyos that will make it so you can select it from the login manager. gamescope automatically does sdr to hdr conversion which looks really good in most games. what still doesnt really work (for me at least) is games that output native hdr. they look very washed out and way too bright. but imo sdr to hdr, which gets way brighter, is still a win
