LOL yeah if the story was “I had to go through secondary screening and they asked me about my job and who I know in the country for 45 minutes” that would make sense, not racist threats and 5 days in jail followed by deportation to the wrong country…

i saw an interview with some guy who worked for I think Olympus (the camera company) in some documentary about the corruption in the mid-2000s. Anyway he was a white guy who at least couldn’t speak english, his interview was done in japanese. This guy should start a youtube channel where he goes to anglo countries and does “oh you thought i could speak the language but i actually can’t!” content

so i read the article and the thing the expert seems to be “torn” on is the fact that this show is meant to be entertainment/funny and the kids clearly arent old enough to understand that they are the butt of the joke. But yeah sure something something america dangerous because black people.
