Ok fair enough. I’m not trying to be a dick or anything. I just watched my wife go through breastfeeding two kids and I know how much the stigma against it sucks. It’s tough to schedule around as it is without having to worry that someone is going to be offended that you’re trying to feed your child.
Pumping and breastfeeding aren’t easy. You don’t get to determine when it’s time to pump. Hanging out with friends? Better have a pumping plan. 3 AM? Time to pump. The fact that she’s giving up so much time and freedom for others is really amazing.
You don’t want to know about someone helping infants in need, or you’re grossed out by breasts?
If you get voted into power, lobbyists give you even more money.
Hell yeah. There is no culture war, only a class war!
You got this!
That’s a great idea, I think I’ll do that as well!
Sort of, Dan Wilson said he had the idea while writing the song because his wife was pregnant so he slipped it in as a double entendre. It’s like 90% bar closing with a couple lines alluding to being born: “Closing time, this room won’t be open till your brothers or your sisters come”.
Thank you on behalf of someone else who gets super annoyed with loose carts and lazy people!
Good luck with that, it sounds rewarding but I don’t know if I could ever do search and rescue! That’s awesome.
Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Boo.
Boo who?
Aww don’t cry, it’s just a joke!
That’s amazing, keep up the awesome work!
Just letting one person know you’ve got their back can mean the world to them. That positivity is so infectious that even RFK Jr is going to take it seriously.
Think of this from his perspective: the Democrats put their faith in the idea that money wins elections, and if you can out-raise your opponent the votes will follow. Twice they conspired against Bernie in the primaries because of his platform: tackling wealth inequality, progressive tax reform, and overturning Citizens United v. FEC. They chose corporate interests over the working class because they valued money more than votes.
There are about 66 million of us that probably feel the same way. You’re not alone.
Again, if you just read the article it covers these points. It discusses that the CDC does not mandate fluoride and it’s not ubiquitous. It talks about fluorosis, and the health benefits of fluoride.
I can of course take care of my own teeth, but that’s anecdotal. If the data suggests that fluoride in water is a safe way to reduce the prevalence of dental issues, I’m for it.
The facts are presented and linked in the article.
Major public health groups such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention support water fluoridation, citing studies showing that the mineral helps fight cavities. Health groups also emphasize that the practice is safe.
Your scenario implies Trump lives to 98, and unless the preservatives in big macs are the key to longevity, I doubt he makes it that long.
The article is drawing comparisons between what conservatives choose to be outraged by vs the things they actively engage in.
They deserve each other.
