i think the problem is that the conclusions you are looking for (“benefits of various mushrooms for health and wellness”) is likely not supported by the methods you approve of (“science based” … “peer reviewed studies”). And to whatever extent they are, why would there be a youtuber banging on about it? unless they are sponsored. which is a Conflict Of Interest.

having a hard time contemplating this. imagining a time in the US when something like heating was collectivized instead of being left to the individual to manage. sounds like a pretty big project to design and implement.

I don’t vape but I got interested a few years ago so I looked into it. Pretty well convinced it is likely an extremely viable harm reduction tool to reduce cig smoking which is a scourge on the working class. Particularly people who have certain mental health or cognitive situations that make nicotine super attractive, and even helpful.

There are great arguments for strong regulation of course. But the anti-vape activists have various problems. Moralism, misanthropy, bad logic, lies. Many of the problems ascribed to vapes are clearly failures of regulation that could have been avoided, not inherent features of the chemical or devices.

Hope you manage to find a 5 gallon bucket of nicotine to keep you for the next few decades.

How do you find the ear pads? Are they specific to the device or can I get generic ones for my cheap ass headphones? I tried to make some to replace the flaking gross ones I had but what I came up with is extremely funny looking and also doesn’t work.

In that case it wouldn’t matter how it looks so just keep an eye on the trash for an impermeable sheet material you can fix on the inside. Plexiglass would be perfect but see what the universe sends to you. Or you could buy something low cost like laminate flooring… go to a big hardware store and look around they have many different waterproof materials. I found that diluting oil poly with mineral spirits made applying it smoothly easier. I started 50/50 then either increased or decreased the amount of poly on subsequent layers. I think increased. And use plain mineral spirits to remove dust after sanding between coats.

at the very start of covid when things were extremely uncertain, mass death was kicking off, and people were scared, i saw this crazy video of anderson cooper interviewing someone from the federal reserve. the fed guy was promising that no matter what horrors were about to come with the pandemic, they would definitely play with the spreadsheet to keep things normal.

anderson cooper was literally crying tears of joy when he heard this. his face and eyes were all puffy and red. he was so relieved.

did anyone else see that interview? it’s the only anderson cooper i’ve ever seen. not sure if it’s his normal MO. more of like a jordan peterson thing.

i do not understand what relationship if any it has with prior left/communist ideas. and mmt seems not to be interested in such relationships.
