fun fact, “commas” does not require an apostrophe

Making dogs be cops is so absolutely fucked. I get that there are working breeds but last time I checked there weren’t any breeds predisposed to fascism
Edit: other than Dobermans obviously

1582·4 days agoAre they white? Do they have an aversion to non-white people? Do they make enough money to materially benefit from the Trump era tax policies? Yes to any 2 and you’ve got an answer, no to all 3 and I’m as stumped as you are.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK tricks for one of the cheapest meals: beans and rice
82·7 days agoa relatively cheap NON-VEGE way to add protein to this base is pork butt/shoulder (same thing) cooked slow all day, either slow cooker or oven at 250F. Its a cheaper cut of meat and one of them is enough to add protein to like 6 servings or rice+beans. Also, bone-in skin-on chicken thighs are great and less expensive- if you render some of the chicken fat out in your cooking vessel before cooking the rice and beans it is a big flavor boost.
Just don’t be lazy, obviously

First one is the Woolworth building, tallest in the world for a brief period. The architecture of NYC is very rich and varied, and neo-gothic was in vogue for a time. The second is 1412

I love dogs, but everything the police use to do their jobs are tools of fascism. Airport security has never actually caught a bomb or a terrorist, it’s literally just theatre.
