I’m a crossbow kinda guy for the sole reason that my back muscles aren’t prepared for a longbow. If I was gonna train to be the best at one or the other, though, obviously take the longbow. They’re simply better given ideal conditions. But if you need scrawny nerds like me to be able to kill somebody, the crossbow wins.

Ahh, that’s entirely fair, they can get pretty intense in that sense. Personally that’s a big part of the appeal for me, I love the balance of trying to budget my time and figure out where everybody’s gonna be and when they’ll be there and all. All to follow through on my evil supervillain scheme of becoming everyone’s best friend by handing out gifts to every single person in town every single day while also being the world’s greatest farmer and monster slayer.

Rune Factory 4 is my favorite game in the genre. If you like Stardew Valley, it’s one of the many games that inspired it. And in my opinion it’s miles better. Not throwing shade, I like Stardew Valley, but it just can’t compare imo

God and the afterlife are what is known as unfalsifiable hypotheses. They are simply asserted with no supporting evidence, and most people thinking critically would not insist that we respect the possibility of every single assertion a person can make without evidence.

The key difference is that there’s a certain type of atheist that is essentially Christian in every sense aside from actually believing in God. They tend to have a lot of racist ideas about any religion that isn’t Christianity and criticize them far more harshly than Christianity. I think these people are worse than your average religious person, and I would most accurately describe myself as a staunch anti-theist.
