Sweet! I’ve been using Notion lately for a work project that fit very well with Notion’s collaborative databases. But in doing that it made me want Properties for my personal Obsidian notes.

1·2 years agoAnother “if you have a desktop pc” tip is you can now install a game to the SD from the PC without downloading it from the internet again. I haven’t actually had a reason to try this, but I know it’s an option that seems pretty cool.

8·2 years agoThat bottom right panel about telling my parents hits hard. My mom was silent and my dad said something to the effect of “we never noticed anything”. Yea, that’s exactly the point! I listed a few examples from my childhood and they didn’t seem to care/believe it was related. 🙄🤦♂️
For me, it’s been useful to get in some gaming time while still being around my family/kids. I have a gaming PC too, but it’s in my office which is kind of cut off from the main living areas of our house. The SD allows me to play and still easily pause to do whatever for my kids or talk to my wife, etc. The sleep/wake is *chef’s kiss.
My other use case is emulation. It’s really good at it, and even passable at emulating the Switch. Though the sleep/wake doesn’t work with those, it’s a trade off.
