Personally I was really enjoying Frieren due to some of the themes of lifespan, memory, and connection that almost coded Frieren as autistic, but, once it strayed into the demon stuff it left a pretty sour taste. You’re right. People’s political concerns reflect their material/class concerns, except in the rare cases of class traitors. They can’t be convinced. They will always consider themselves victims before and after the revolution. When you’re with family members of higher class, just listen. Don’t teach, just learn how they think, and how the fabric of reaction weaves together. Warp and weft; which threads tug on which threads? Ask people where they heard that, which podcasts, streamers, or content creators they’re getting things from. Let them reveal the rot of their soul to you.
