I may have been lucky.

My first video cards where pretty old for the time in which i used them: Ge 2 Mx400, intel family HD 2500, Rx 570. Now im running with Rx 6750 xt and vega 8 on my laptop (I think).

Wifi cards, i really dont remember cause i have never experienced visible or obvious problems. I’ll check and update later.

With my bluetooth i had an odd experience cause i never got it to run even on windows (first laptop) but eventually started working on linux after a debian clean installation +5 years later. Had some problems with a bluetooth dongle that pretty much solved themselves once i got the proper kernel update.

Edit: Ge 2 was running on bumblebee… I once tried to run it on the official drivers. It worked, but fucked everything in a funny way.

I have learned a lot from YT, it’s a really good plataform for that. Languages, programming electronics, and the list goes on… that was my YT experience during the 2010s. But there is also a lot of bs out there, maybe fuled by monetization, extreme groups or just because mankind is stupid at its core, that is purely aimed to diffuse nonsense, catch peoples attention or plainly influence people views.

Where I live, revisionism is teach at schools as if it is the real thing. “A part” sometimes is enough.

My comment was originally thought more as a joke than as a real complaint, but in all seriousness, YT has become an extremely good tool both to learn and to influence people. I understand that “regulating it” would be also another double edged sword, but something has to be done.

This is horribly true. I hardly ever use youtube. I only use it to see followups on the war on ukraine. The quality of the videos that are shown to me is repulsive. I cant understand how anybody could fall for that shit.

Titles like “<famous person> spoke the truth on <center left periodist> face: shut the fuck up, you are just a dirty communist” all in caps because they are obviously needed. Tons of titles like that. This shit is being crafted by someone.
