The English language does not deserve this level of respect. I mostly work with people who speak English as a second, third or fourth language and our communications contain 5000 grammatical mistakes a day, shock horror we understand each other just fine.

This definitely seems to differ by person, difference in my mouse cursor movement on 60fps vs 165fps is extremely apparent.
There are stripped down community versions of windows that are huge security risks and not worth the minor fps boost from debloating the OS.
Also people should just use Linux if a minimal OS is what they’re looking for.

I always thought one of the main selling points of the borderlands series was because of its art style it could look good and run well on lower end hardware. I played a bunch with people who didn’t normally play pc games or even just had a laptop cos it was a great first looter shooter anyone could play.
This seems intended to compete with the console market, which also aim for “4K”. That’s the standard I expect valve to be comparing to.
I don’t see enough info here to accurately predict performance on the gpu side but a very vague approximation would put it inbetween the ps5 and ps5 pro or the horrendously titled AMD ryzen AI MAX strix halo 385.
I think there’s a market here for people who want a new pc but not to engage with the current pc parts hellscape, or want to move to Linux with a hassle free experience.

Sorry my reply could have included more detail. I don’t have list of citations at hand, but this discussion has been ongoing for decades now. The main argument is that padding allows for tackles that would not normally be attempted due to short-term pain and injury risk to both players. The accumulation of these high impact tackles made possible by padding results in long-term CTE and serious injuries that risk retirement. If you’ve ever played rugby the type of tackles you see in American football are terrifying. For another comparison in soccer, only shin pads are typically worn and most contact injuries hurt like hell and are gone two minutes later because you bumped kneecaps together.
