there is dorms at some unis but they aren’t very big. most people live at home or rent something nearby themselves
the proportion of terminally online losers who would actually waste their time doing it seem to be higher here than other places though
twisties make you gay, because life’s pretty straight without twisties
when I finished high school and was talking with friends about going to uni, a few of us were talking a out renting a place together when we got into uni to be close (instead of 2 hours away like we were). another friend we should never do that because people would think we are gay. obligatory he is a Christian fundamentalist who is highly likely gay himself
the recent avatar game is a great example of actually hitting the mark visually and superficially (probably one of the better looking games I’ve ever played) and the physics and gameplay in the world are pretty damn good. but people complain the story is boring. and yeah it’s not amazing. I don’t think it’s terrible, and it’s a game really built to explore the environment rather than complete missions.
it’s near impossible to get that perfect game that hits every single button possible. I truly think we gamers need to settle down a bit as a whole. Sure buggy messes that are unplayable are not something we should tolerate, but I think we need to stop treating everything that isn’t perfect as a pile of shit
if I recall correctly, one of Melbourne’s major outbreaks was because one of the quarantine security guards was fucking a quarantined patient
agree. it’s got probably the best content range, but the most God awful UI of all the streaming services I’ve tried
Karl Pilkington. he would do a great job of complaining about every minor inconvenience I’ve dealt with
100% spot on. I’m so tired of everything needing to be 100% or 0%. a 80% cut has an impact! so does 50%. we all need to do what we can, and not taking an extreme position doesn’t make someone a sellout or faker or whatever. every little bit helps
alien isolation is still too scary for me to finish. and it’s not even just the xenomorph that keeps me away, the synthetics are nightmare fuel
it’s faster. the fakes can get out there at virtually the same time as the “real” images. any story that may have built is already in dispute before it became a thing. and whimpers away. before if it took a day to get a convincing fake out people would be suspicious
robin hood prince of thieves
they scam money out of innocent people, pay their staff peanuts and live a life of luxury. it would be an objectively good thing
my brother thinks we live inside the earth and the sky is a projection. not even kidding
for a bloke who likes to accuse people of being paedophiles, he sure is simping hard for an actual pedo
yeah but it didn’t try to lock him into a subscription plan or software ecosystem
same. there’s things I didn’t like about it, but I enjoyed it
reminds me of a google review I saw once where a bar owner in Japan replied to a review and said something like “next time you are in town punch me in the face” which probably meant hit me up, but I loved it
