Yeah, I wasn’t close for a picture and I didn’t know how to explain it (English isn’t my main language). Just has to remember to take a picture next time I went to the bathroom 😆

The side of the toilet paper. My best friend is a mad men and puts it on the wrong side. He always changes it whenever he goes to the toilet somewhere.
Its just funny, my gf made a frame specifically for him in our bathroom and at one point we duck taped the shit out of the toilet paper dispenser so he wouldn’t be able to change it. Made everyone laugh.
I use a small wax heater for removing body hair. 20$ and gets the job done. If you plan to do more than one chain at a time though, it’s too small. I’ll probably buy a used crock pot or instant pot at some time to wax more than one chain at a time.
In French they can be. In France, no because they don’t have a large repertoire of sounds. But in Quebec, all 3 E sounds different.
Yes I saw that one, I also like the presence of aux lights so when it’s closed I get some lights that people can see. I was just wondering that if the optics are that small, maybe the throw wouldn’t be enough. I guess it’s fine. It would be quite a powerful flashlight.
Did you go with or without dome for the 519A?
The SC33 would be great, but tail switch. Not as useful for me because of the way I hold the flashlight while riding. It uses the XHP70.3 HI emitter, so I might get that type of performance in a D1K with this emitter. For the SC29, this is a great option, it checks a lot of boxes. Thanks!
Yes, I’m looking for a light that I hold in hands. So I don’t think these form factor are the best for my use case. I want to aim it at the ground (I need to see holes and cracks in the road), but I also need to aim it at street signs or something I want to see in the woods for example.
It happened a few times that my Thrunite battery was all spent before getting back home. But maybe it won’t happen with a 21700 though.
A 21700 is fine for the weight. I won’t mind I’m fine going bigger than my Thrunite. The only thing about the SP36 is it uses 3x18650, which is quite hefty. It’s hard to hold on with the wrist guards. It’s doable, but if I can get a bit smaller light I can also just bring a few extra batteries if needed, it’s better imo.
Thanks again for the suggestions though!
Thanks for the suggestion! I didn’t know about this community, just subscribed. I might post there too later. I can’t find the W51 to do more research unfortunately. But I would prefer a 21700 battery since I would like to match the battery with another flashlight I have in mind for camping purpose.
I migrated from Bitwarden to 1password because I wanted something that works better on Linux. With 1password-cli and PAM integration mainly. Bitwarden worked beautifully under Windows, but once I switched over to Linux, I realised that 1password had more Linux friendly features. I track some discussions over bitwarden that talk about implementing those features, I might come back at some point.
This setting doesn’t exist for me. I just use another launcher anyway.
I don’t have it on mine. I finished high school (college) 20 years ago. There are way more relevant things to put in my resume than that.
Thx, for podcasts, I paid for pocketcast a long time ago, so I’m fine for now. I’m mainly looking for this use case, but for a standard RSS reader.
Here is a use case: multiple device sync. With a server client infrastructure, read status are synced to the server, so if I change device, I can pick it up where I left off. Same thing as using a cloud service, but self hosted.
It might. I take the risk. At that point, storage cost will be lower, I’ll just buy a bunch of 20TB drives and build a truenas NAS. In the meantime, I’m satisfied with unraid as I don’t have to spend 2k+ to get 50TB of usable space.
Why would they need production capacity to produce a product that is useless for the NATO military doctrine? That’s just not how NATO countries wage war. Of course they don’t have a good production capacity of a tool they are not likely to use. And even if they wanted to start to produce them at the start of the war, it wouldn’t be ready today, it takes a lot of time and resources to build production capacity from scratch.
As I said to people I know, fun. I have fun setting this up. Its a hobby. I like to search for bargains and build the automations. If you don’t have fun doing it, its usually not really worth it. It gets expensive quick and its kind of a lot of work to research and setup if you want to keep your privacy.
What’s important is the combos. There are very powerful combos that render the game very easy.
