Yes, it would be cataclysmic. In the longer term though, I would argue that just about everyone on the planet would be a winner if the US empire were finally put down. You can’t really overstate how much of an impediment the US is to global human welfare and development.

Damn. Sounds cool. I despise windows (naturally) and sometimes want to do this too. I am scared because windows is all I’ve ever known, but on the other hand it’s now almost unrecognizable from what I grew up with and I don’t really know how to do anything on it anymore. I think this was always a given. USA has never had a problem with genocide of course, and I’d be shocked to see a candidate for president that wasn’t a Zionist. My only curiosity is how much polling indicates swing state voters actually care about Palestine, and whether this is a strategic blunder in that sense. My guess is people don’t care enough generally… But it might be enough to tip the scales in Michigan. Which might be enough to tip the scales in the electoral college.

Tea like that is weirdly expensive too. I’ve started just buying giant bags of loose leaf chamomile, mint, whatever, and empty paper tea bags to make my own, and it’s great. Got a pretty extensive collection at this point and it lasts basically forever. Also encourages me to collect and dry my own stuff. So many tasty drinkable plants out there.
