Okay well I already have my own neko maid uniform, so just a quick hop into the gender swap machine (maybe a pit stop into the plug Closet) and then I’m off to the cuddle puddle!

I will have to bring up the lack of quick access from the bdsm dungeon to the cuddle puddle, aftercare is important!

If I remember correctly, Marvel/Disney started doing this with the MCU (along with not telling some cast like tom Holland spoilers because they suck at keeping quiet), according to some of those “behind the scenes” type youtube channels (heavy spoilers, MasterTainment, Nerdstalgic, etc)

I’ve heard Peter Jackson did this with the hobbit and George Lucas with star wars, but I don’t know how accurate those are, as I can’t even recall where I heard them. So massive tub of salt and all that…

I’ve actually done this myself, when telling a story I’ve changed the names of some people involved, and when I inevitably heard back from someone who shouldn’t have known, I know who told them based on what name are dropped. It helped cut someone shitty out of my life but I don’t like essentially lying to and testing my friends…

On the one hand, being friends with people who have severe chronic illnesses, and living with someone with progressively degeneraating mobility due to chronic illness, I can say with absolute certainty that after long enough of being laid down and mostly immobile, some of them absolutely COULD jump up out of bed on excitement and manage to walk the rest of the day. They will all pay for it for a week or more but neuro divergent people don’t all have the bet impulse control.

Give me a fucking bike lane or shut the fuck up, I’ve been literally forced off the road every single year I’ve been cycling since 15, I have been hit by cars more times than I can count, I have been hit with things thrown by cars, I have been hit by city busses, semis, and even fucking cops.

I wear hi vis clothing, my bike has lights front back and sides, at least one constant and one flashing in each direction. I leave 3ft between me and anything to my right, and am as far to the right as I can be without ILLEGALLY riding on the sidewalk

I really think avatar should have done a little more to show life for non benders.

We get a little bit here and there, but never really see “normal people who have to be on their toes around benders” kind of life outside of the single western lone-wanderer episode where Zuko left Iroh and was helped by an earth kingdom family, who then all turn on him when they find out he’s a fire bender for sure, claiming to be prince of the fire nation.

But Imagine being a normal person going about your life when BAM half your house is gone because a teenager still wrangling with his abilities accidentally shot a boulder (not THE Boulder) through your front wall. Are the cops gonna do anything about it? Or are they gonna shrug and tell you they don’t have any benders on their payroll so nobody wants to risk getting sunk through the floor.

My random internet person, we enshrined it in our goddamn constitution. It never went away, we legalized it and constitutionally protected it in such a way that ensures it will never go away until the document on which it is written is burned along with the institution that created it.

There’s never going to be anything 2/3 of states agree on enough to change the constitution for again. Divisive politics and complicit media make sure of that.

I tend to recognize usernames I see at least once a day, if they’re phrases or words. Not if they’re like strings of random characters…
