29·6 天前Let’s see, Alberta exists because of Treaties 6, 7, and 8, which are with the crown and pre-date the creation of Alberta as a Provence. In order to separate, those Treaties would need to be re negotiated. But perhaps, the separatists are really big on post-colonialism, and they really want Alberta to return to Indigenous title. That might be cool.
Oops, I forgot about Treaty 4 and 10.

It will do just fine against anything Russia has, and not as much of a money pit as the Fail-35. Unless Canada goes back to requiring a twin engine the Gripen was always the best choice, otherwise it’s down to the Rafale, Eurofighter, or Super Hornet. Then the Super Hornet has an advantage that it should be familiar to RCAF pilots and cost of training should initially be lower.
