The PS3 slaps as a retro console. Lots of great games, the last good UI (Because it was before everything was advertising), cheap to get games for. Good console all around, just buy one and chuck in a new drive (an SSD can slightly improve things)

I had a kobo Clara colour but broke the screen (no idea how).

I replaced it with a Book poke 4 lite and that’s better IMO, but the kobo was good.

Ideally you’ll want one that isnt locked into any ecosystem so you can do what you want on it.
